Description
This memorandum template, or memo for short, features a clean minimalist layout to enable efficiently communicating internal company news, announcements, notices or other information. Key information about the memo is in a larger font, such as the title, date, to/from and subject. The ample whitespace clearly delimits each section and gives the document lots of breathing room. Three columns of additional information are present in the footer of each page and can be used for company information or to list a contact for further enquiries about the memo content.

Usage Guide
Compilation
This template compiles with standard pdflatex. There are no special requirements outside of packages that are supplied with a full distribution of TeX.
Memo Information Commands
Several custom commands are present in a MEMO INFORMATION block in the template and are used for specifying all memo information except for the main memo body.
\memotitle
This command takes a single parameter for the main document title at the top. While the default is Memorandum, you may prefer the informal Memo, Announcement or Notice instead. The text you enter will be automatically capitalized.
\memodate
This command takes a single parameter for the memo date which appears at the top under the main title. Leave this command empty (i.e. \memodate{}
) if this text is not required.
\memoinfotable
This command bundles one or more \memoinfotablerow
commands on separate lines in its single parameter. Each \memoinfotablerow
takes 2 parameters, the first for the information title (e.g. To:, From: or Subject:) and the second for the information content (e.g. All Middle Managers). Either parameter can be empty if you would like to leave a gap, which can be useful when one title should have more than one line of information.
\leftcontactinfo
, \centercontactinfo
and \rightcontactinfo
These commands take a single parameter each and are used to output the small columns of text in the footer of each page of the memo. Each line should be separated with the standard newline character \\
and will wrap automatically if the content is too long. You may leave any or all of these commands empty if this information is not required in the footer, e.g. \centercontactinfo{}
.
